Understanding Tax-Deductible Uniforms and Work-Related Clothing

The Australian Tax Office (ATO) provides specific guidelines on claiming tax deductions for uniforms and occupation-specific clothing. If you or your business has made eligible uniform purchases during the 2023-24 financial year (from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024), you may be entitled to a tax deduction.

Evoke Uniforms are currently looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team located in Gnangara.

As an extremely fast-paced production environment - we require workers that can keep up with the rest of our team!
If you thrive off being busy, you will fit right in!

What we offer:
β€’ A warm and friendly work environment, where team members are part of a work family
β€’ No experience necessary, perfect first job opportunity
β€’ Monday – Friday (suit Adult or Junior - school hours okay for now, with the availability to increase to full time next year).
β€’ Approx 15-20 hours to start (ideally 4 hours a day, 4 days a week)

Role:
β€’ Receipting stock in and checking off against supplier purchase orders
β€’ Preparing product/unpacking/repacking
β€’ Communicating with staff on stock movement
β€’ Assisting embroidery/printing operators
β€’ Operating embroidery machines and printing equipment (training provided)
β€’ Folding and trimming
β€’ Booking couriers for orders going out to customers
β€’ Cleaning/tidying warehouse/office
β€’ Other adhoc duties as required
The ideal applicant would have a great work ethic, and the ability to work both independently, and as part of our friendly crew.

What we are looking for:

β€’ Relevant computer skills
β€’ Task focused
β€’ Motivated, enthusiastic and highly energetic

β€’ Comfortable to talk to customers, couriers and talk on the phone
β€’ Previous experience in the Uniform and Promotional Product Industry and/or Screen Printing/Embroidery Industry advantageous
β€’ Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment also advantageous
