Digital Transfer Printing

Digital Transfer Printing came long before DTG and DTF printing, and is still a preferred way to print for some of our customers.
Some artwork designs or fabrics may still suit this method better. We normally opt for DTG/DTF printing now with the new technology that is available, but it still has its place in the garment decorating industry. We will advise on the best print method once we see your artwork and garment choice.

Digital Transfers are a way to produce personalised garments quickly and easily (usually for low quantity, sports numbers or names). They are just another option we have available for low volume orders.

Feel free to browse our products online and email your orders through to sales@evokeuniforms.com.au if you think digital transfer printing would be best for your order (if it involves individual names and numbers). DTG/DTF can also be used for individual names and numbers too.
We don't have the option to order Digital Transfers online anymore, to save confusion offering too many options to choose from when adding embroidery and printing to the garments. We are here to help if you have any questions.

Sometimes certain artwork doesn't always achieve the best effect with this print method, we will be in contact to let you know if your artwork would be better suited to a different print method.

• Effective on all colours and fabrics
• Bright and vibrant colours plus specialty finishes available - including fluoro & reflective colours
• Care is required when washing the garments – wash inside out, do not tumble dry and do not iron the print
• Designs are required in vector format (AI, EPS or PDF with all text converted to outlines/curves)
• Full colour designs and single colour designs are a breeze
• Small outline may be noticeable around the outer edges of detailed designs, and the printed area may have a slightly vinyl/plastic feel
• Perfect for sports uniforms, as it is ideal for printing numbers and names as a single colour
• Quick turnaround

Once you start getting up into the higher quantities, above 20 items, and you have 1-3 colours in your design, screenprinting is a better option.

Production timeframes:
Standard turnaround is approx 10 working days from receipt of stock and artwork approvals.
Contact us if required sooner, a rush surcharge may apply:
- If dispatch is required within 2 to 3 working days from receipt of stock and approvals, a 30% surcharge applies.
- If dispatch is required within 4 to 5 working days from receipt of stock and approvals, a 20% surcharge applies.
- If dispatch is required within 6 to 9 working days from receipt of stock and approvals, a 15% surcharge applies.
Please check with us first for any urgent orders, so we can confirm stock availability and that we can fit your order into the production schedule by your required date.

* SETUP is a once off setup fee per artwork design for us to edit your artwork making it suitable for Digital Transfer Printing (manually adding cut lines, bleed, etc). If you are unable to supply Vector artwork (What is Vector Artwork?), we can redraw that for you free of charge. If you have specific pantone colours in your artwork/logo's, advise us at the time of ordering.
Vector artwork can be provided to the client for their own future use, at their request.
